I have been concentrating on photographing the architecture of Manchester recently mainly due to working there at the moment and as I walk from the bus station to my place of employment I get snap happy.

Some of the results I have achieved with my camera phone have been ok and a lot didn’t work out. Occasionally I take a shot and actually can’t wait to get home and download the image to see if it works as well as I hoped it would.

I am now going to try portraits with my camera phone! I have not thought about ‘proper’ portraiture before using the Nokia but I want to see if I can get decent results that can be compare to my DSLR studio images.

I intend to visit people in their work,bars & gyms etc. Look forward to sharing these with you. I will of course be editing them in software but will publish my failures as well as , I hope, the good ones. I will also push the creative possibilities to the limit.
